The Hamilton ISD school board voted unanimously on a lone finalist in a board meeting Tuesday night. After an extensive process and vetting, the board selected Dr. Harper Stewart as the lone finalist for its next superintendent.
Texas law stipulates that a district board must name the finalist for the superintendent position 21 days before the selection is made official.
