The community of Hamilton and the High School Cheerleaders gave back at the Pink Out Pep rally today.
Blake Edwards, a former Hamilton Alumnus, was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in May. Today, he was the featured speaker at the annual Pink Out Pep Rally. Blake expressed his appreciation for the support of the local community and Hamilton General Hospital throughout his journey.
Hamilton High School Cheerleaders presented a check to Blake and his family for $700 from T-shirt sales.
The High School Cheerleaders also sold Pink Out socks to help raise money for the Hamilton General Hospital Mammography Department. Hamilton Healthcare System Representative, Nina Hooper, accepted the $500 check from the sales.
